Worship depends on a right spiritual or emotional or affectionate heart-grasp of God’s supreme value. So true worship is based on a right understanding of God’s nature and it is a right valuing of God’s worth.
SJISS is owned by the sisters of Daughters of Mary Immaculate and Collaborators (DMI) and thus founded on Roman Catholic Christian values and principles. However, students from all walks of believes are welcome and have equal opportunity to academic and related services. It is intended that the School community will be comprised of individuals from a wide range of ethnic, national and religious backgrounds, reflecting the diversity.
Spiritual counseling is reflective listening and faith-filled prayer that helps remind an individual that we are immersed in the Spirit and God is always present in every situation, as a constant resource and a mirror to guide us in what needs to be.
